The project is meant to increase people’s awareness towards the importance of protecting the environment.
The high level of civilization mankind has reached to, creates a false sense of balance and security. So much preoccupied with his personal welfare, Man has excluded LIFE itself from the equation of life.
Obviously each living fertile element of our planet has an overwhelming importance: not polluted soil, some fresh air, without any holes in the ozone layer, a diversified flora and fauna, would be ideal, BUT without the essential role of water none of these would exist. On one hand water is the catalyst and the constitutive part of all forms of life, on the other hand water represents the “blood” of this splendid living-body, our planet.
Unfortunately, an unhealthy blood will make someone’s body ill, as an unhealthy water will make our planet ill. There are millions of people who suffer from a severe lack of water. They cherish it the most! The rest of us, who can enjoy it in so many ways, should start treasuring it the best way can! As Jack Cousteau said: “ Let’s not forget that water and life are the same”.
